Roof Planes

Place your solar panels on up to 8 different tilts or azimuths for each design.

​Switch back and forth seamlessly between roof planes, and make adjustments to each just as easily.

Setbacks & the Distance Tool

How do you accommodate for local setback & firecode requirements? Simple.

​Use the distance tool to measure out your guidelines, and use them to ensure your solar panels stay a certain distance from the roof's edge.

Selecting & Nudging Solar Panels

Did you know that pressing CTRL+C will copy solar panels in the design tool, and CTRL+Z will undo almost any action?

​Learn how to use your keyboard, along with other pro tips, to manipulate your solar arrays faster than you ever thought you could.

Modeling Loans

In addition to modeling a cash purchase, you can also create any loan profile that you'd like, and model it out in the design tool.

With a loan selected, the proposal will generate an interactive "total cost vs. savings" bar graph, with loan terms displayed in a layout that's easy for your customer to understand.  

Extended Zoom

Did you know that when in "Top" view, you can zoom in up to 16 times closer than when in "45 degree" view?

This allows for higher precision in your designs, and more flexibility in single-panel manipulation.

Adjust Shading & Output

Adjust the variables that determine your customer's projected solar system output, including your system's shading, inverter efficiency, and more.

Color by Performance

Using a gradient scale from green, to yellow, to red, see how well your solar panels will perform on their provided roof plane, relative to optimal site conditions.

Incentive Wiki

Don't see a solar incentive available in our dropdown lists?

You can create your own solar incentives to apply to your designs and proposals. Create an incentive profile only once, and apply it to any future projects.

Auto-Calculate Energy Bills

Only enter either consumption or cost data for your customer. Based on your selected utility rate, the design tool will automatically calculate the "missing" data.

Ballasted Systems

Flat roof ballasted solar systems are no problem in QuickSolar. We offer full flexibility in the way you lay out your solar panels, and full control over your inter-row spacing. 

Team Management

Sales managers can use QuickSolar to gain more oversight into the designs & proposals created by their sales team.
